Comunque fresca e dissetante.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2014 330ml served in it’s own glass @ Café de Bruxelles - Lausanne. A: Pours golden slightly hazy yellow color forming a medium bubbled fluffy white head S: Quite spice and fruity. Green apples, bananas, honey (or vanilla), candy sugar, bread, sweet grains and hints of alcohol T: Very Belgian, I mean, sweet candy sugar and fruity upfront and a nice pleasant grassy hoppy end. Bready. At the same time, very spice in taste too. Belgian yeasts, sweet malts, lemon zest, cloves M: Medium body and good carbonation. Sweet upfront and a mild bitter aftertaste O: Good drinkability. Good beer [ BA Review @ 7/13/2012 ]

Hazy golden colour with a nice, long-lasting head. Quite light and highly drinkable for the strength.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A brown to yellow landscape. Large creamy white head, good retention. Good lacing. Fruity aroma (lemon), cereal, biscuit, herbs. Medium sugary and alcoholic sweet balanced with medium dry bitter refreshing. Medium body, silky texture, good carbonation, herbal bitter finish, warming note. Overall, a good belgian beer : delicious aroma, good bitterness, silky texture. Evil...

Aroma and flavor (after they geyser subsides) dominated by yeast, fruit and nuts. not unpleasant, but not a favorite of mine. With a little too much carbonation, and alcohol showing, methinks this one is a tad bit overrated."

Draft at cedar local NYC. Surprised to see this on tap. Blonde cloudy color with a thick head that fades. Boozy, bready and yeasty . The chilled glass killed the flavor

Aroma reminds me of Prague. Lovely example of the style. Dry and not to strong. Essay drinking.

The new and refreshed Anker interpretation of this Riva classic. Off-white, coarse, thick head and pale golden blonde colour with greenish hue, clear with steady sparkling. Malty aroma with green apple, thyme, cream, whisky; mineral water taste in the onset, then a restrained apply fruitiness, bit granular but otherwise smooth mouthfeel, honeyish malt sweetishness in the middle, finish mildly but spicy hop bitter with some warming gin-like alcohol. Surprisingly light and drinkable for its strength and significantly improved compared with the old Riva version.
