Duvelís less known cousin? Fruity - citrus and banana. Rather sweet and somewhat bitter in the end. Lively carbonation and long finish. One of those typically Belgian beers, very enjoyable and interesting even if not that distinct nor original.

Draft at cedar local NYC. Surprised to see this on tap. Blonde cloudy color with a thick head that fades. Boozy, bready and yeasty . The chilled glass killed the flavor

Aroma reminds me of Prague. Lovely example of the style. Dry and not to strong. Essay drinking.

The new and refreshed Anker interpretation of this Riva classic. Off-white, coarse, thick head and pale golden blonde colour with greenish hue, clear with steady sparkling. Malty aroma with green apple, thyme, cream, whisky; mineral water taste in the onset, then a restrained apply fruitiness, bit granular but otherwise smooth mouthfeel, honeyish malt sweetishness in the middle, finish mildly but spicy hop bitter with some warming gin-like alcohol. Surprisingly light and drinkable for its strength and significantly improved compared with the old Riva version.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Taste sweet, belgian yeast, fruity. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy pour. Slight citrus and bread nose. Flavor is light, hint of orange and lemon with bread crust. White head lasts and laces. High alcohol content is not detected. Not too shabby. An American malt liquor would burn and taste medicinal. This isnít bad at all! Can.

Bottle pour. Hazy golden with a large white foamy head. Strong wheat, bread, and banana aroma. Medium body. Bread, yeast, wheat, and alcohol taste. Bitter throughout most of the taste.

Bottle poured. Light golden color with generous white head. Has a pleasant aroma with hint of citrus. Very unexpected bitter taste that starts and finishes as such all the way through. Was not expecting it based on the aroma.

Hazy pale yellow color, huge fluffy white head, lacing. Fruity aroma, mostly banana, some yeast and caramel. Pleasantly sweet. Thin body, soft carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle; pours gold with a white head; aroma is citrus fruit and spice; taste is malty and then has some citrus bitterness; finish is dry; overall this beer seems to be missing something; itís not bad but itís not that great either....

On tap at Barrels & Bottles. Pale Golden and hazy appearance with a sticky, lacy white head. Aroma and flavor of Belgian yeast, fruity esters, bready malts and light alcohol. Medium sweetness. Just OK for a Belgian Strong.
