Warming finish with more simple white bread, meringue, hints of vanilla, wheat, yeast. Tasty, and drinks pretty well for the strength.

@ Bryssel 15-10-30: Typisk belgisk med tydeligt kryddiga toner. Lite för parfymerad - ok fyllighet

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I like the newer version better than the pre-2009 brew. Pour is very nice, hazy, rich gold with a thick, creamy, white head that lasts and leaves lacing. Aroma of pear, honey, coriander...quite nice. Tows the line of refreshing and light drinkability matched with enough malt, hops, and alcohol kick to take you where you want to go. Spicy feel on the tongue, somewhat sour finish, very strong Belgian character. I’m glad that I revisited this ale, would recommend.
