2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. A more or less clear one, straw to golden in color and with a dense, white head of moderate size. Some lacings. Fruity, alcoholic nose with grainy hints and a spice touch. Pale malts and lots of white sugar, some wheaty toffee too, and a spiced hint. And of course alcohol. Medium body, sweetish yet rather dry, and finishing with a pleasant bitterness. A beer that seems to be made to compete with Duvel, but itís far from that good, rather edgy actually. 110624
