Aroma is bigtime yeast, alcohol, big fruityness as well as some slight grassy and caramelly and toffeeish notes. Flavour is caramel malts, quite a bunch of spices, some peas, mild yeasty and toffeeish notes.

Bottle. A more or less clear one, straw to golden in color and with a dense, white head of moderate size. Some lacings. Fruity, alcoholic nose with grainy hints and a spice touch. Pale malts and lots of white sugar, some wheaty toffee too, and a spiced hint. And of course alcohol. Medium body, sweetish yet rather dry, and finishing with a pleasant bitterness. A beer that seems to be made to compete with Duvel, but it’s far from that good, rather edgy actually. 110624
