Banana sweet aroma. A gold color with a strong white head. Overall rather light but sweet with that banana flavor off the yeast.

Color rubio pajizo. Aroma a cítrico y plátano. Sabor ácido y burbujeante. Ligero toque especiado y amargo.

At work: pours cloudy golden grey with a white head. Aroma is yeasty and lightly fruity. Taste has some nice amount of hops for a Belgian from Belgium. Some minerals. Alcohol is well covered. Relatively easy to drink. Not bad.

750 ml corked and crowned bottle. Pours a pale gold with a thick mousse-like white head. Excellent lacing. Fragrant lemony malt nose has yeasty notes. Flavor mirrors nose with notes of biscuit malt and lemon peel. Refreshing, with a crisp bitter finish. 8%. ABV is barely noticeable.

Bottle shared at the 42nd floor tasting as ’Lucifer’, picked up in London purely because of the name. Clear yellow, sparkling, huge foamy white head, thick lacing. Aroma is clean, lager-like, biscuity, spice. Body is medium to light, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is biscuity, alcohol, papery finish, quite sweet. Very basic. Clean and simple.

On tap at Max and Joes 2014. A cloudy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of yeast, some mild fruits. Taste is fruity, spicy, malts, a touch of alcohol and just a bit of hops. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation..

Bottle at the second 42nd Floor Tasting. It pours hazy pale gold with a thick white head. The nose is paper, straw, grassy, powdery, floral, light spice and lemon peel. The taste is toasty, earthy, lemon rinse, white bread, cracker, grass and some warming alcohol. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Drinks pretty easy for what it is. A bit sweet of course, but actually alright.

susonagger (135) - spain, - DEC 10, 2015

11.2oz/33cL bottle with a double label (lucky, I guess?) and a marking of 31/07/12 on the bottom [Dutch] one. Nose sweet and candyish, pours clear but dark golden with a huge level of carbonation and a huge, frothing white head. Taste is dry and digestible with alcohol warmth and strength, sweetness at the edges but only wispy and not from sugar. Malt is thin and pils-y, body is thin but supported by the bubbles. Relatively clean but a little muddled and generally bland. Very delicate bitterness with a smidgen of hay, dash of wood. Not too much character from the yeast (downright neutral for a Belgian). Efficient alcohol transference mechanism with a shade of naughty class? [2015.12.09: 3.3]

The brew fails too short on a dominant alcohol flavor. Behind this there is a sweet maltiness and slight crisp hop flavors.
