Cask at The Hanging Bat, Edinburgh AROMA: coffee, dark chocolate, roasty, nuts APPEARANCE: black, minimal head, brown foam, TASTE: lightly sour, medium bitterness, PALATE: medium body, creamy, average carbonation, astringent, long finish, bitter, OVERALL: very good porter that stands its ground without a hint of smoke, with just a bit of roasty/nuts. Good balance of coffee vs. dark chocolate.
