1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
12 oz kick ass bottle. As 17thfloor did, I gave it a two on appearance since its such a cool bottle, otherwise it’d be a one. Very pale golden yellow with almost no white froth. Grainy, straw pale malt aroma, windex? ( I didnt use soap to clean the glass) some nasty sharp fruit. Flavor has a sweet base, I get some honey and a light white bread quality before just a bit of a light bitterness in the finish. Light body and a sharp carbonation. Not a fan, but the bottle is going right to the shelf

This is Australian? Anyhoo, cool bottle. Pours a light yellow with a thin white head. Skunky grain, cardboard aroma. Taste is alllllllll Pale Lager! Light malt, no bitterness. Fairly boring.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
bottle, pours pale gold, thin white head. Skunk and adjunct aroma. Watery pale malt with a skunky/sour peach kind of finish. Unpleasant and thin.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle, from Tesco Scunthorpe. Faintly hazy lemon gold, no head and low condition. Low starch and ester aromas, Thin in the mouth with a nasty fruitiness bordering on bile, plus some background sweetness of undeterminate providence, short sweet and starchy finish. Didn’t leave me rubbing my belly.

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
33cl bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Straw with almost no head at all. Barely detectable sweet malt aroma. Malt-flavored water. Watery, slight carbonation. No finish. Did they even use hops in this beer? Interesting Buddha bottle.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2013 Bottle at my local spoons pub. I’ve tried sparkling mineral water with far more taste and character than this. Cool bottle though!

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a clear yellow with a white frothy head that diminishes to the tiniest cap with no real lace of which to speak. The nose is some skunky, musty grains. The flavors are completely devoid of substance and lackluster. It actually reminds me of a watery pils, with some skunky malt, grains and a pathetic attempt at some hops. The mouthfeel is seltzery, with a very thin body. Overcarbonated and underwhelming, the bottle is certainly the best thing about this brew.
