Lack-luster brew with nothing notable to distinguish it from the masses. Really the only thing it has going for it is the marketing in the Buddha bottle.

11.16 ounce bottle from Beer Run, opened 6/23/14. Pours a clear golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of skunk and grain. The taste is skunk, pale malt, grain, green banana, corn. Thin bodied. Seems like this is more about the bottle than the beer. I give the bottle a 2.7, this… not so much.

Comes in a green Buddha shaped bottle. Pours a clear yellow with the usual bitter lager flavor. Very cold and good with Chinese food at The China Cottage. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Oh, man; this brings back memories. Was shipped from my father’s residence, to my home, last Thursday. First beer consumed part of DADDY’S MYSTERY BOX- many thanks! I love the label; knowing him, that’s almost certainly why he bought it. To under-sized snifter, it pours a pale cream yellow. Managed to sustain a quickly diminishing white-ringed head barely a fingernail in length, before dissipate to nothing but mere champagne bubbles in under five minutes. Aromas of crushed acetaminophen, Bible paper, LME, tin, Styrofoam, stale seltzer, and bubble wrap. Tastes the same with addition of wet cardboard, bread yeast, and sweat. The finish is absurdly heinous - it actually resembles chilled unfermented wort. Still, my ex’s father had an empty bottle of this in their house, and he would use it as a vase for flowers, so I’m glad I got to try this again and briefly live back in that time. However, it’s equitably not that good.

So the appearance of 5 is only because the bottle is cool as shit. Pretty skunky generic lager. Lots of cardboard and weird sweetness. Taste is like heineken. I bought this because of the bottle just being real.

Pours a light urine yellow, and a very small head. Aroma is like a garbage pail on a hot day. Very dry. The taste is like a wet skunk. The only thing good about this beer is the bottle.

Pours a clear yellowish with a week light head. Crisp. Has a corny skunky finish that pretty much sets the experience. Sort of a Rollin Rock thing going on here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from awesome molded green glass bottle into a nonic pint glass. It poured a clear straw colour with thin but persistent white head. Pleasant lawnmower beer aromas: husky grains, candy-like pilsener malt traits, black peppery and flowery hops, faintly musky in a cool Heineken way, but not in a light-struck flawed way. Faint residual sweetness but with a nice dry finish. Light body, spritzy carbonation, tasty and refreshing. I know this is a Chinese pale lager, but c’mon, there are no glaring adjunct flaws or anything here. Taken on its own merits I definitely think it deserves higher ratings overall.

A little apprehensive at first but surprised at how mich better it tasted. Smells of skink but the flavor is nice. Smooth and slightly sweet. I was told that there is rich added which helps to round out and smooth the beer. Most people would buy for the bottle but I wouldnt mind this being an everday drinking beer.

Straw yellow/golden color thin head. Aroma of malt and vegetables. Taste is malt, grainy with slight earthly tones. Slight bitter after taste. The shape of the bottle and the lack of sourness I would recommend this to somebody who appreciates craft brews and is able to go beyond Budweiser or other domestic brews.

Poured light straw colour, no head no lace. Lucky tastes slightly lemony, slightly sour, grainy with very little in the way of malt sweetness or hop bitterness.
