Hazy headless yellow. Aroma is skunks and lemon with a hint of underlying sweetness . Taste is very much the same and has a dry tannic grassy finish. Better than MBC, but still completely repugnant in its own right. I second the sentiments of the previous review, and additionally wonder how such a product ever found its way into such an expensive container.

...bottle. Well, for such a cool bottle, it was a dissapointment. Typical ricey, bland, no flavor lager. Weak, light yellow color, and almost no head. Same for the flavor, almost none, other than slight cardboard hints in the finish. Slightly sweet cardboard, so I guess it could be worse, but I will never buy this over-priced shit again.

THOUGHTS: The second I opened the bottle I could smell skunk, but hey, like most of the other reviewers, I bout it for the bottle. But it’s so bad I couldn’t even give it bonus points for the great bottle. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a very light yellow with a small, white head the fully diminished. The aroma was light to moderate grain, light to moderate grassy hops, just a hint of honey and oh yeah skunk. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and acidic, while the finish was moderately sweet and lightly acidic and bitter with a short to average duration. There was a little grain to start, a little sweet malt and some honey maybe. Then a hint of lemon followed by grassy hops and almost soapy ending. The light to medium body was watery with very fizzy carbonation and a light to moderate astringent and almost soapy finish.

Bottle (11.6oz) shared at ’Rudolf’s May 2008 Tasting’ -- courtesy of Hockey28. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a spare white head. Aroma: Whoa, skunkarama! Along with the skunkfest there’s grain and some caramel or toffee or something. Flavour’s watery, grainy and has that weird caramel/toffee medley thingy as well. Light bodied. Not good at all. Cool bottle though.

Great bottle! A weak, watery looking yellow with very little head but what there is does last. A bit of lacing. Standard skunky cheap lager smell. Stange taste of staleness with dry aftertaste. Not undrinkable, but now I’ve got my Buddha bottle, I won’t be buying it again.

2008-05-17. Pastel yellow, small white head. Skunky grainy aroma. Thin nasty grainy flavour, skunky. Thin Palate. Poor. Definite case of marketing trumping quality. Who knows, maybe its fantastic fresh, but I doubt it. At Rudolf’s, shared by hockey28
