COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucky Bucket’s Original American IPA begins with a nice malt bill that lets the brew stand up to the mountain of hops added later. After the boil, the hot wort (the beer before it’s really beer) is fired through a hop back, a unique four-barrel stainless steel tank filled with a gratuitous amount of raw flower Amarillo, Centennial, and Cascade hops, extracting the aromatic oils and flavor of the hops. Followed with additional dry hopping in the fermenter, the end result is a big, well-balanced West Coast-style IPA with terrific hop flavor and aroma.

On draught at Puckett’s Grocery in Franklin. Cloudy orange-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, malt and citrusy. Medium body with a citrusy hops character and notes of earthy malt and pine. The finish is hoppy with a zesty citrus aftertaste. Above average overall.

Cloudy light orange, pillowy white head. Good citrus aroma of orange and grapefruit with a little underbrush. More orange and lemon on the palate which is rich, round amd hoppy. Very bright and flavorful, I really like this ipa.

[4266-20120120] 355mL bottle. Spruce orange hops aroma has a hint of grass. Slightly hazy, orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head with some lacing. Bitter heavy citrus peel grain hops flavour has a long bitter finish. Medium body is quite bitter. Delicious, nice hops profile. (7/4/7/4/16) 3.8
