1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jimmie65 (312) - Texas, USA - JUL 27, 2012
Amber-gold pour. Not much aroma. Not much flavor either.
Brewer’s description claims "aromatic" - far from it.
The fourth and most disappointing selection from the beer of the month club. Probably time to cancel.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 queenholly (1914) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JUL 23, 2012

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 deyholla (4854) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 19, 2012
On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a lot of hay and earthy grains with some corn and grass. Flavor has corn and grains with a bit of underlying hay.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Trev (1674) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Dark gold pour with a thin foamy head.
Something might be off here.
Aroma is maly, grainy and slightly acetic/vinegary.
Flavour is tart, getting a fair amount of vinegar which shouldn't be...carbonation seems more effervescent than what I would consider normal.
Will consider a re-rate if I can find a single some time.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BeerKurve (232) - - MAY 15, 2012
Yeasts, cereal grains, hops all encompassed by a slightly sour and bitter flavor. Could’ve gone without the sourness though. It’s easy to drink but there are better simpler tasting beers out there

A little malt/metal in the aroma. Looks okay. This is decent. A good boyd with boh some heft and a little crispness. Refreshing.

Lucky Bucket's pre-prohibition lager is by far one of the best NE beers that I have ever had. A well balanced aroma and clean finish make this beer both easy on the pallet and very drinkable.
