COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucky Bucket Pre‐Prohibition Lager has an updated craft brewerís twist as its signature: itís dry‐hopped with a fresh blend of aromatic hops. The dry hopping schedule is a unique hop mix that was derived from numerous tests and private samplings. The resulting blend includes aromatic Cascade, Centennial and Amarillo hops.

No. Now I need 73 more letters. Clear orange. Funky aroma. Bitter funky taste. Will not buy again.

Hazed amber hued straw body fills the glass well. Smells like old socks. Light bready malt backbone. A little ripe pear. Not bad.

Pours a clear gold. Aroma is malty with a slight hint of pine and citrus. Taste is quite light and malty. Overall a nice lager.

This is the kind of beer you drink hoping for Matt OíHanlon to make a play. I was expecting something terrible, but instead it was a very middle of the road drinkable beer. Not much flavor, but not offensive either. I would never seek this out, but if someone hands one to you it is acceptable to drink.

Clear orange golden color. Light cereal aroma. Light, balanced palate with a light cereal flavor. Why donít people like this beer? I think itís pretty decent.

Darker gold with white head and visible carbonation. Malty nose but I also smell something akin to rotten fruit (very very faint), or could it be a Bret influence?. There is a toasty malt flavor, almost dry flavor upon first taste. Itís almost smokey and a bit odd, although I can appreciate this unique twist. Some citrus/lemon flavor (the hops?). Doesnít really go together but separate it makes an interesting experience. Given you donít drink flavors in siloís I find this a bit of a confusing beer. Upon further tasting, this really does seem to have a bit of a sour Bret side to it. Not sure what to make of that interpretation.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a clear medium copper with a one finger white head. Fairly good head retention and lacing with the head hanging around for awhile. Aroma of cooked vegetables and some corn. There is really a lot of DMS here and Iím not sure if it is intended or not. Some caramel and grassy hops are buried in the background. The flavor thankfully has less in the way of DMS but does bring along an odd, sour tartness that really detracts from the flavor. Some toffee and bready malt along with hay in the background but again I feel like there are too many off-flavors up front. Pretty watery mouthfeel but that is not out of line with a beer that is only 4.5% Overall, Iím not really impressed. If this was cleaned up a little it could really shine.

Gold w/ white head. Grassy hop aroma. Pretty mediocre pale lager. Nothing too special...although itís better than any macro. Notes of barley malt, grassy hops and something like black pepper on the finish. It is what it is...a easy drinking clean lager. Ok everyday drinking brew. Wonít buy again though...there are P.L.ís I enjoy more.

12 oz. bottle from Cash Wise in Watford. Appearance: no head, dark gold to amber color, clear, no lacing. Aroma: fruity, light caramel, slight biscuity. Palate: flat carbonation, light to average body, slightly cloying texture. Taste: sweet caramel with some light fruity notes, with grassiness coming in as well. Overerall, pretty drinkable, a little too sweet through. Flatness is a bummer.
