2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz. bottle from grownfool- thanks again, Brian! Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a pretty small white head. Aroma of sweet malts, citrusy hops, biscuits, crackers, cereal, and sugar. Flavor of minerals, pale malts, straw, paper, and saltines. Light-bodied, with high carbonation and a crisp, mineral mouthfeel. Dry finish. Promising in the nose but there just isn’t much flavor here.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Clear orangish pour with a decent sized white head. Aroma and taste are not very good, actually - vegetables, grain, minimal malt character, hops don’t stand out. Bleh.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark gold body with an orange hue and a thin white head on top. The aroma has some packaged wheat bread with some carrots behind the malt. The taste has some sharp white bread crust and a little bit of raw potatoes. The finish is like hay. A decent, fairly dry brew that is good for summer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Trade with Aurelius - thanks!- new state - Nebraska! Bright sparkling medium dark golden pour with a thin white head. Pretty much of a neutral aroma, hints of spent grain and fresh lake water. Solid, crisp lager flavor with some nuttiness, a bit of honey sweetness, some graininess. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. Not bad at all.

Bottle - gift from my wife’s co-worker. Amber pour with a short white head. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet with grains and light hops. Taste is malty and grainy with a light sourish twang and soft fruit notes. Grass and straw come through as well. Body is light-medium with soft carbonation. Ends with more grains, sweet malt, a light sour fruit twang and and a touch of grassy hops.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma has some sour fruits, corny notes, some slightly citric hops notes and a decent malt character, a bit bready, with some graininess. Flavor has some sourness, light malty sweetness, citric notes and some mild bitterness. Light-medium-bodied. Sourness seems out of place, but it’s still aמ OK drinkable Lager.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle - fizzy, clear dark copper - nose of copper, grain husks, light DMS and a mild sourness - not promising so far - prickly acidity up front, followed by some corn, husky grains, light butter, light sourness - metallic finish - terrible.
