COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucky Bucket Pre‐Prohibition Lager has an updated craft brewer’s twist as its signature: it’s dry‐hopped with a fresh blend of aromatic hops. The dry hopping schedule is a unique hop mix that was derived from numerous tests and private samplings. The resulting blend includes aromatic Cascade, Centennial and Amarillo hops.

Dark poor from draft in Omaha. Wheat and grain aroma. Sweet for a lager. Enjoyed it but circumstances were right

12oz bottle -

Aroma - very hard to pick-up any major aromas. Light malty grain, a little sulfur and a touch of apple juice.

Appearance - solid gold body, clear with sporadic bubbles coming up from the bottle. Head starts out about 3/4" thick, disipates to just a splatch of nothing really.

Taste - flavor is really clean, not much to hang your hat on. Kinda minerally tasting, light grass and a touch of sweet malt

Palate - light bodied, light carbonation...has a seltzer water kinda feel to it

Overall - a really nice standard lager. Not sure where the "pre-prohibition" claim/name comes in to play. No noticeable flaws, easy to drink. Big thanks to pfoxyjohn for sending me this one!

Bottle, Beer of the Month Club. Clear dark amber with a minimal white head. Lagerish aroma: Some orange, some grain, some wet grass and faint caramel. Orange bitterness but rather soft. Light body, fairly carbonated, soft, bitter finish. OK.

Bottle. Pours pale amber color with a thin white head that fades to a collar. Aroma grassy and grainy with a lemon scent. Taste is more malt and grain with grass too. Palate is thin and chaulky that finishes dry. Note a bad lager!

Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is bready malt and a little hop. Flavor is lightly bitter, with a sharp, biting quality in the middle, and a bit of citrus in the finish.

Crushed at the Crescent Moon. Not bad. More like a premium lager than a pale. Very smooth and light. Lots of bready malt with a kiss of hops. Like the dude before me said, it’s a nice session beer.

Poured a clear light brown color with a white head that faded quickly. Aroma had a toasted grain and caramel note to it. Flavor had a little more of bread like notes and some sweetness to it almost like brown sugar. Body seemed a little thin, but not enough to totally ruin the beer. Evenly balanced and smooth. A nice beer.

Dark gold pour with a thin foamy head. Something might be off here. Aroma is maly, grainy and slightly acetic/vinegary. Flavour is tart, getting a fair amount of vinegar which shouldn't be...carbonation seems more effervescent than what I would consider normal. Will consider a re-rate if I can find a single some time. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Yamaichi. Malty, caramel, very grassy, sour cabbage notes too. Very pretty russet/amber color. Light caramel, some sour tang and roughness in mid, and nice hop tinges in final. Thin body. Okay. Extremely grassy and full of flavor. A lager that goes a bit too far, maybe. The sourness kinds of detracts from the overall experience.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear light amber color with one finger of foamy off white head. Aroma is malty and somewhat fruity. Taste is light caramel malt and some fruity sweetness.
