COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucky Bucket Pre‐Prohibition Lager has an updated craft brewer’s twist as its signature: it’s dry‐hopped with a fresh blend of aromatic hops. The dry hopping schedule is a unique hop mix that was derived from numerous tests and private samplings. The resulting blend includes aromatic Cascade, Centennial and Amarillo hops.

Gold w/ white head. Grassy hop aroma. Pretty mediocre pale lager. Nothing too special...although it’s better than any macro. Notes of barley malt, grassy hops and something like black pepper on the finish. It is what it is...a easy drinking clean lager. Ok everyday drinking brew. Won’t buy again though...there are P.L.’s I enjoy more.

Boston Lager glass from twist-off bottle. Pours somewhere between amber and gold. Thin head. Aroma is faint. Good grain flavor, minimal hop character (for both aroma and flavor); mostly sweet flavors of chocolate and nuts. Kind of like a watered-down amber lager. Weak body. This is easy to drink, from a mouthfeel/viscosity standpoint, but lacking in the fullness quality that the best session lagers have. It honestly seems like it’s been diluted.

This is the kind of beer you drink hoping for Matt O’Hanlon to make a play. I was expecting something terrible, but instead it was a very middle of the road drinkable beer. Not much flavor, but not offensive either. I would never seek this out, but if someone hands one to you it is acceptable to drink.

I’m sorry guys your IPA won me over, but this did not. The sweet taste just does not fit this beer. It hits your taste buds at a weird time while drinking it. I will stick with the IPA. I still need to try certified evil, I’m really looking forward to it.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Tart caramellish nose. Medium body, tart and fruity - clearly there’s some sort of infection going on here. No real bitterness. 221012

Bottle. Clear orangish pour with a decent sized white head. Aroma and taste are not very good, actually - vegetables, grain, minimal malt character, hops don’t stand out. Bleh.
