Feb 20, 2006 Updated: Apr 4, 2006Cask at the brewpub (as Dark Dunkel Rye Yo!). Clear nut brown. Appley, lightly roasty nose. Sticky sweet with some mashed apples, no bitterness. Not good.

Jan 3, 2005 On tap at the Lucky Lab public house. This brew pours a darker copper color with a nice off-white head that leaves good lacing on the glass. Another lucky lab brew with a very floral aroma, fruity and purfumy, with a candy smell, almost like smarties, nice and sweet. Taste is very smooth, with a light sweetness up front, kinda like toffee, fading into the rye and hop finish with a bit of spiciness. Very crisp and dry finish.
