Skyview (2906), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 17, 2007 Last stop in Portland during ABA Beer Tour 07. On draught as "Organic IPA" at the brewpub pours a clear golden amber brew with a fast dissolving white head. Aroma of light caramel malt, some sour apple, and flowery hops. Taste is slightly carbonated, medium bodied, a little syrupy, with a light bready with earthy hop flavors. Finish is light and smooth with a flat bitter aftertaste that lingers around for a while. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 4, 2006 Amber with a nice lasting head, Aroma is floral with some citrus. Malty and hoppy and well balanced. Nice bitter finish. DYCSoccer17 (2040), Davis, California, USA Jun 16, 2006 Half pint tasted at the LL Beer Hall in Portland, OR. Cask. FLoral, almost acidic hoppiness in the nose with some metallic notes. Rather faint aroma. Transparent light copper color with a frothy whitish head. Why is this transparent?? A very English style IPA. Lots of metallic flavor with biscuity maltiness to start. Finishes with mild bitter floral hoppiness. A welcome change from the typical palate-bludgeoning hoppiness of many of the IPAs in the PNW. dwedin (238), Portland, Oregon, USA Mar 16, 2006 Portland tap. Golden color. Aroma was weak with hops. Simple flavor, med bitterness with a highly bitter finish that lingered. Just one thanks. Dirty lines, bad batch? Very different from the other opinions. Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Mar 4, 2006 Hazy blond colour. Light hoppy aroma. Dry and bitter. Not offering a ton of flavour variety. Just bitter hoppiness and these aren’t really the hops I’d pick first for that sort of beer.
