2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pint glass at the beer hall in the Pearl District. Pours a very pale with almost a green tinge. A fine very thin head dissipates very quickly. Effervescent in appearance but not head retention. Aroma is fruity yeast esters and a bit of a woody quality...soft fruit akin to lychee fruit juice, softly aromatic with hints of jasmine. Flavor is primarily in the nose because the high carbonation lifts the aroma. A very light sweetness, cracker-like malt that can be seen as dusty with very little bitterness and some would consider the dry finish to be a bit acidic. As it warms it becomes slightly medicinal. Don’t get me wrong though even though this is a crisp and dry finishing beer it is definitely not sour. A decent, thirst-quenching light lager with exotic fruit aromas, although the esters play up a bit.

Light aroma and flavor. This was very interesting brew with a light lychee flavor. Lager finish this was too light with very little flavor.
