Ungstrup (11037), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 11, 2008 Draft. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of grass, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter finish. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Sep 4, 2007 Sour rye in the nose. Medium-light bodied with some subtle caramel and some tangy rye. Interesting but not outstanding beer. Skyview (2777), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 17, 2007 Last stop in Portland during ABA Beer Tour 07. On draught at the brewpub as "Bike Route Rye" pours a semi-hazy golden amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head. Aroma of multi-grain malt, sweet fruity apple/pear, with a touch of herbal hops. Taste is well carbonated, medium bodied with a fruity bread flavor. Finish is still well carbonated with some dry citrus aftertaste. DA (2376), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Nov 10, 2006 I really enjoy rye ales and this one was excellent. Very fruity up front with a great rye backing, then finishing with a great floral citrus hop end. Very refreshing throughout the whole brew, easy to drink, and not overly aggressive on the palate with to much hops. patrick767 (1396), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 24, 2006 tap at the brewpub - Pours yellow with a one finger head. The malt and rye aroma was mild but pretty good. The flavor matched the malt and rye as well as the light overall tone of this beer. It was too thin on the palate, but had a crisp finish.
