draft @ brewery - pours black and thin; no head; primary aroma of coffee mixed in with roasted malts and barley; flavors come off dry and are a mix of roasted coffee and a slight sweetness; drinks smooth; decent

Sample at the Molen monthly tasting. thin off white head. A bit pale for a porter, clear burgundy pour. A nice enough porter.

On draft at the Lucky Labrador. Roasty, nice lacing. Taste is coffee grounds with some caramel. Very pleasant drinking. I could drink a ton of these. Very nice local porter.

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is subtle, with a touch of roast and a little cocoa - pretty weak. Flavour brings out moderate cocoa powder and a touch of roast. Really weak stuff though - nothing interesting here.

At PDX airport while watching the Germany vs Argentina game with Taylor. Pours dark brown with light lacing. Aroma is thin, light toffee, light roast. Taste is a little tangy-off, light thin roast, nutty, almond sugar.

(Draught) clear, dark brown, almost no head. Nose if amber-style English malts, light chocolate, quite roasty and dark (perhaps burnt) caramel. Tastes like an amber, earthy noble hops, acrid notes like old coffee grounds, bitter and very roasted. Low carbonation and medium to thin body with an old coffee linger.

On cask at Lucky Lab - pours a dark red with no head. Faint aroma of grain, chocolate and coffee. Super thin body with sweet caramel tones. Pretty bland but I still made it through twenty ounces. There’s plenty of Stumptown breweries making far superior porters.

On tap. Mahagony with a light brown head. Semi-sweet malt with some caramel, a dry nutty presence with some bittersweet chocolate shavings. Moderate carbonation and body, somewhat dry finish.
