Thanks to beerzack for sharing the bottle at the tasting
Pours a light amber/golden color. Smell is honeydew melon scented sweet hops. Smells good. Taste is balanced nice sweetness and is very drinkable. Nice bitterness. Overall a slightly thin bodied IPA and feels somewhat delicate, but is quite enjoyable.

Bottle thanks to BeerZack. Sticky sweet nose, hop-led, somewhat unimpressive. Copper with a thin head. Great bitterness, drawn out finishing extremely dry. Citrus peel flavors. A touch dry in the finish.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear orange-golden color with decent head that fades to ring and spots.
Grapefruit and some tropical notes, mostly pineapple. No astringent or alcoholic aromas.
Big fruity hop flavors, red grapefruit, pineapple, orange all jump off the light malts leaving a bitter finish. Great West Coast IPA.
Soft, light-moderate mouthfeel with low carbonation helps this hop juice go down. Highly drinkable hop bomb.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 19/20
Sampled this one on draught at the Lucky Lab Beer Hall in Portland, OR. Pours to a slightly hazy, burnt orange color, with a thick, creamy, white head, and a moderate amount of carbonation. Lots of zesty/citrus hops in the nose, very fragrant. The palate has a good base of pale and sweet malts, paired with really good citrus hop tang. This beer finishes with more good pale and sweet malt up front, then ends with a good blast of citrus hop bitterness that lingers. Well done AIPA, which is standard in Portland, OR. Very enjoyable pint of beer.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draft at the brewpub. Aroma of super citrus hop. Golden amber color with a reluctant white head. Medium body, creamy carbonation. Strong citrus and pine flavors. The malt is almost lost. This is a super IPA. Way bitter into the finish.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden in color, not a huge aroma for an IPA. Wonderful sticky-bitter mouthfeel and lingering, drying finish.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
I had this at a beer tasting festival in Oregon, so I didn’t get to take my time looking at this ale. All I know is that it rose head and shoulders above all others I tried--it smelled and tasted so bitterly delicious. Like grapefruit. Grapefruit and beer are two of my favorite foods, so I was in heaven. I only wish I could find some back here in California, but from what I read about Russian River Pliney the Younger, it just might be close to tasting like Super Dog.
