On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A nose of green fresh hops. The flavor suffers from unbalance and again, green hops, bitterness throughout. Some lemon zest.

On tap. Golden pour with a white top. Light scent of grains and pine. Taste has an overwhelming tea finish, much like the pale ale.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Brewery location on Hawthorne Blvd. Pours a clear, golden colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened caramel malts with some floral grapefruits, a light grass, touches of grainy bread, and a few pines. Flavor is similar. Floral grapefruits with a lightly sweetened caramel, a bit of a bready and grainy toast, some grass, and a light pine. Finishes dry and moderately bitter with a bit of a caramel note. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent IPA. Pretty bitter, but lacking a lot of depth. Not bad.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale golden pour. The aroma is kind of muted here as well. Bitter without much aroma. Light bodied but bitter. Meh - kind of a dead beer for me.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours gold with white head. It has some tropical fruits to go along with hops. It is pretty good, but the Super Dog is better.

On tap in SE. An excellent golden color with a white head that went away quickly. Slightly sweet smell and not at all hoppy. A very good hoppy taste with a lingering aftertaste.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear crisp golden IPA with an excellent head, which is something these guys do real well. Light and zippy on the nose with a watery kiwi character. In the mouth it has a heap of bitterness and plenty of kiwi and lychee fruitiness. Maybe some vegetal cactus water too. Heavily bitter. Oily.
