Lilith (242), Santiago, Chile Nov 9, 2007 Clear, orange color. Big floating particles. Small off-white head with a nice lacing. Aroma is something like fart! and rotten vegetables, rotten flowers and lemon. Flavor is bitter, hoppy and flowery. Light body, creamy texture, a bit metallic and slightly metallic.

Fin (2357), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Apr 15, 2008 Picked this up from Farm shop between Hereford and nowhere (okay Wales) Pours copper colour with thin to med white head good clarity. Nice touch of bitterness, good depth of flavour but not a distinctive beer, follows the herd a little, to be fair the more that I get down this the better it is and in fact it has a rather nice sweet citrus flurry, not great but better than some of the recent ratings suggest I reckon. davidpl (403), Santiago, Chile Dec 5, 2007 Appearance: dark amber color. Medium head, ivory color, persistent and good adherence to glass.
Aroma: some unpleasant, like rancid, propane and plastic smells (maybe for infection or conservations problems). In the background, a blackberries and toasty touch.
Flavor: light toasty malt start and toffee touch. Hoppy final, some resinous and persistent. Fruitiness like grapefruits and stone peaches. Malty aftertaste.
Palate: medium body and light carbonation.
Disappointment aroma. Mediocre.

Alround rating: An unbalanced esb, rich but bitter and appley sweetness with spicey, just doesnt go well together. cgarvieuk (2541), Edinburgh, Scotland Dec 2, 2007 Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting ... amber ... light fruity woody hop ... fruit little malt ... little caramel ... decent balance.
