Silver Medal Winner at the 2009 Great American Beer Festival. Bronze Medal Winner at the 2010 World Beer Cup. This ale is medium bodied with higher bitterness. The blend of English and American hops make this copper colored ale especially pleasing for pale ale lovers.

22oz bottle in Arizona. Decent IPA - the lemon/citrus aftertaste is normal to slightly elevated but otherwise a decent IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home in CT with the family. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a frothy white head. The nose holds ripe citrus fruits, mellow caramel, orange, pine. Medium sweet flavor with some bready malts, toasted grains, oily pine, nips of toffee, grass, melon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Some spruce in the finish, more toasted malts, ripe citrus fruits. Drinkable stuff.

On tap @ Beaver St. Clear golden pour with a white head. A touch of apple and celery on the nose. Grapefruit and orange peel as well. Cracker malt and a lot of grass. Flavor is fairly bitter and grassy. Some grapefruit and orange peel. Bread, toast, and a lot of cracker.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom C. Hazy deep golden. Nice hoppy aroma, citric and a bit “green”. Flavor of citric hops, slightly “green”, rather dry, with a nice bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

Not the best IPA, but very refreshing and enjoyable on a warm day running in the mountains.

650 mL bottle generous shipped to my home address by my father. Many thanks, sir! To oversized snifter, it pours an effervescent, bright amber orange with which a foamy snowy white head ˝ fingers in length stood. Aromas of seaweed, pine cones, chives, dried lavender, cotton, and American hops. Tastes the same with the addition of graham crackers, firewood, sea salt, rose water,Bible paper and pickled pears by swallow. Floral, bittersweet, and just a tad salty. Overall, enjoyable IPA. Was definitely akin to chewing juicy hop pellets at its finish, but it certainly had a likable malt body so it wasn’t a total mess in this department. 3.5 out of 5 ain’t bad, no matter what they told you.

This IPA has a very pleasant hop bit to it. The hops are perfectly balanced with the malt foundation. This IPA will be my go to cerveza.

Draft at the brewery. On the darker gold side for color with a white head and lacing. Light aroma of NW hops: a little bitter and a little sweet. Great flavor, well balanced with sweetness at first and then some lingering bitterness. Nice.

The beer pours decent with a clear straw color to it, a nice white head that lingers around for a while and great lacing on the glass. The smell is average with a definite presense of resin but it is somewhat mild (for an IPA) and doesnt offer much else. The taste is decent as you get a definite piney flavor that mellows out nicely (taste has more power than the smell did). The mouthfeel is decent as the beer is decently carbonated and leaves your mouth dry and bitter. Overall, a decent APA that definitely leaves you feeling like you drank an APA, hoppy and bitter...nice.

Bomber via trade. Orange pour with a monster frothy head. Grapefruit rind and citrus. Slight caramel malt. Delicious.
