12oz can 5/23/15 (Total Wine-Park Place -TUS)-38° in Shaker-Pours a light amber with a small tan head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down smooth.

Has potential, but falls a little flat. It pours a dark yellow with a small foamy head, aroma is piney & grapefruit-y, too. It has a pleasant initial taste, but it unravels a bit through the middle and aftertaste. Meh, I’m not impressed, but it’d be passable for a hot day. Seems stronger than 6.1%.

Bottle. Nice frothy pour, pile of sudsy foam atop yellow-orange. There’s a light citric aroma. The beer drinks with an easy to gobble body, lightly acidic with tart but mellow orange citrus. (#5885, 12/14/2014)

6.1% abv 12oz can pours with a clear copper body that has gold hues and supports an off white head. The modest aroma offers up malts and snippets of citrus hoppiness and little else. The taste starts with some bitter grapefruit and lime hoppiness as well as sweeter malts and malt sweetened pine hop resiny notes. This has a nice offering of hops but it may not be the freshest can which impacts the overall hoppy experience.

On tap @ Lumberyard. Clear golden pour with a white head. Spicy hops and a lot of grass. Some floral hops, grapefruit rind, and bread. A bit piney. Flavor is quite bitter. A ton of citrus rind and pine. Some herbs, flowers, and leafy hops. Hints of blueberry and grass.

This is a mighty fine IPA in a great atmospheric brewpub. Like to knotty pine pale ale too.

Tap at the hotel in Tempe.

Copper color, pine-and-grapefruit nose. Caramel-heavy on the flavor, some grapefruit, unremarkable.
