2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2015 Not too bad. A little watery sometimes and subdued. Slightly different taste, maybe due to the chamomile. Serving: Tap

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Lunar into the fall but noted at Alefest Chicago as this year’s style entry by many of the I.C.B.G. member brewers. Poured a hazy straw hue, with a white foamy head and silky, clingy lacing. The aroma was a light dose of yeast, soft grain as wheat, light sweetness, and hints of spice as coriander and orange zest. The flavor added to these some low hop bitterness, light esters, and a hint of tartness. With good carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, and fairly light body, this Witbier finished pleasantly dry. I considered this one of the top replicales at the event.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
A decent beer from Lunar, not as wheaty and yeasty as i pictured this to be- cloudy creamy yellow, spice notes, orange peel and some herbaceous flavours are pretty noticeable. Taste had that soft spice, well integrated with the citrus. Decent like i said, but a little weak.
