Our Russian Stout aged on oak spirals that were soaked in Jim Beam Black Bourbon.

Different from Kosmonaut Hooch - A straight bourbon barrel aged version.

At the brewpub. Smooth mellow stout. Coffee, bourbon and oak, but knew when to pull back. Imperial Stout hardcore fans my think this a bit tame but I found it a tasty drinkable treat. Serving: Tap

On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a grayish brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of dark grains and roasted malts with just a touch of bourbon. Flavor has much more roasted malt that gives a hint of coffee and a hint of warming bourbon in the finish.
