1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pale, clear body, with a tiny white head. Aroma is sweet malty with cereal and bread. Medium sweet, light bitter taste with some sour notes. Light body, thin texture, medium to lively carbonation, a bit metallic feel. Not the worst pilsener around, but far from the best.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
0.5l can. Pours a clear pale golden body with a surprisingly decently sized white and fluffy head. Aroma is strong crowded cereals, light industrial hops and thin malts. Body is light to medium, texture watery to oily, and the carbonation surprisingly quite soft. Tastes lightly metallic and quite grainy with a thin bitterness all the way through. Ends with grains and cereals, leaving a slightly pungent bitter aftertaste. Tastes kind of what a warm lager does when it has been standing in the sun for to long - only this is cold. This was clearly not the perfect beer for me. Saying all that, it got a bit nicer when it got some temperature...

1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Can from local grocery store. I figured it was about time to try this lesser known Norwegian pilsner from the fabled land of Telemark. It pours a nice golden beer, without any surprises. About 1 cm of white head which is quickly diminshing as I write this. Floral nose with notes of grain. Taste is on the bitter side, pleasantly so. Slightly sour. Flavor is... hm... well, not much! Hints of caramel, vague fruits, perhaps a small hint of hops somewhere in there, a hint of something reminding me of fresh laundry (!)... OK mouthfeel, not overly carbonated as many other of its kind.
Overall: An OK pilsner, except the fact that it has no flavor. Easy to quaff though. The good part is that no flavor also means no bad flavors, which is somewhat surprising in a Norwegian macro-pils.
