(Bottle 33 cl) Pale, pilsener golden with a small, creamy, white head. Malty nose. Medium body, sweetish malty - rather clean actually. Has a vague touch of sulphur. The finish is dry. Quite a decent Lager. 040307

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Slightly hazy, straw, moderate head. It has a stale note in both aroma and flavour, and it lacks finesse and clear notes. It’s bitterness is OK and present throughout the experience.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours pale yellow/golden with a quickly disappearing white head. Clean, dry taste, a bit metallic. Weak aroma, some grain and a little hops. Thin bodied. A typical middle-of-the-road Norwegian macropilsner.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Huge offwhite head over golden body. Lovely grassy malts aroma, balanced and clean. Taste is pea-like grassy hops with faintly grainy malts in the background. Smooth mouthfeel. A quite good pilsener. (0.5l can.)

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled. Pale golden with a small, white head. Aroma of malt, grain and some cooked vegetables. Flavor is quite sweet, a fruity, artificial sweetness, with very little hoppiness, and a grainy finish. I guess this one sells most because of some misunderstood local patriotism. (It is not brewed in the area it is sold in.) (060228)

An average Norwegian pilsener. Som malt, light grassy hps in the finis. I’d have a shot of something stronger with this.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I like this one. It’s very different from the mainstream norwegian pilsners. The first time it reminded me of some malty east-german beers, later I’ve been not so sure about that, and have found it more hoppy. I have to test it again this summer....

I did not appreciate much the flavour and aftertaste of this one. Found nothing ’creamy’ about it. Lacks the hoppy freshness of other Norwegian pilsners.
