| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 9, 2009 From tap, 3 glasses, at the visit of the brewery :-) A beautiful blond to golden light hazy beer with some bubbles rising and a beautiful lacing medium white head that lasts. An aroma of grains, hops and spices. Very soft mouthfeel with a malty taste, some hops included making the beer light bitter and finishing spicy with slight tyme. An exciting beer thzt gets into your head fast and in my opinion even better than its origin, the ’La Chouffe’. maupie (631), Roosendaal, Netherlands

Pours lightly hazy golden with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Lovely hoppy and grassy aroma, yeast, caramel, a touch of brett. Medium to high carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour has a little cellar, caramel, but also lovely flowery hops bitterness. Sweet, sugary background. Lemony. Fine hoppy Belgian. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 3, 2009 Bottle from Amstein, Vevey, Switzerland Hazy blond color, quite pale; high carbonation and very big head, some big bubbles, but indeed quite compact later. Delicate aroma, mixing some spices and a Belgian yeast touch, and traces of rosemary. Good mouthfeel, spiced malt flavor, with a pleasant subtle sweetness and a touch of oranges, both sweet and bitter. Correct bitterness, with hints of hops. Well balanced. Can easily be described as Tripel. Deeply pleasant.
I don’t know the story behind the interesting label, but in Latin Wolf=Lupus and Hop=Humulus Lupulus. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 3, 2009 Bottle from Birraland. The label says "Amber beer", but it is hazy yellow. Flowery aroma, not too stong. Fresh citrus, fine head, lively carbonation. Dry and dusty flowers in the finish. Nice, but not very exciting.
