COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Golden beer with a beautiful firm white head. In the aroma you distinguish mainly vanilla, white pepper and some fruity scents. The main palate is soft sweet, creamy with a sober alcohol impression. In the aftertaste you notice some stone fruits (peach, nectarine) and a soft and smooth bitterness is elegantly present. In short, a savoury blond with a complaisant character.

Bottle 33cl. Hazy gold with a huge white top. Aroma is not very special, just your average blonde. Taste is good, a touch of sourness in the aftertaste. Not special, but it tastes like it’s brewed with care.

Bottle from the Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a golden color and large white head, with a lot of bubbles. In the aroma tones of vanilla, fruits and some spices. The taste is a little sweet with somes tones of alcohol and a little fruity notes. The finish is fruity, soft and a has a light bitterness in the end. Not completely impressed by this blonde beer but it’s oke.

33cl bottle from the local supermarket. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, citrus, caramel and spicy. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is more bitter than sweet, balanced. Overall, a nice beer, refreshing but not remarkable.

Bottle-conditioned 750ml. Effervescent gold with a lasting white head leaving rings of standing lace. Malty and yeasty nose is honey malt, candy sugar, hay, mild esters with moderately strong white pepper phenols. Medium body, med/off-dry sweetness, balanced bitterness and acid. Creamy texture with prickly carbonic acid and phenols giving it a pleasant kick in the mouth. A little syrupy and the malt is a little simplistic; there is a mild warming effect of alcohol but no ethanol or fusel off notes... nope, it’s clean as can be... beauty in simplicity.

Pours a clear, bubbly golden with a skimpy eggshell head. Strong, fruity aroma has firm apple, pear and banana notes plus hints of sweet malt and butterscotch. Flavor does not quite live up to the aroma, but is still tasty, fruity and malty with snips of hops and butterscotch. Firm, fizzy texture leaves a fruity and somewhat hoppy finish. This will get you howling!
