COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Golden beer with a beautiful firm white head. In the aroma you distinguish mainly vanilla, white pepper and some fruity scents. The main palate is soft sweet, creamy with a sober alcohol impression. In the aftertaste you notice some stone fruits (peach, nectarine) and a soft and smooth bitterness is elegantly present. In short, a savoury blond with a complaisant character.

Hazy golden. Huge, white pillow. Aroma is fruity and spicy with citrus notes. Spicy and sweetish flavour, dry with citrus and alcohol. Finishes a little rough.

Lupusí third, with off-white head and deep golden blonde colour with ochre hue. Malty aroma, unpleasant impression of cooked corn, some grassy hops, esters; light fruity taste, dryish, malty backbone with again something corn-like, soft and very mildly hopped, thin finish. A disappointment, but considering the other ratings here, perhaps it has become better meanwhile. Iíll re-rate when I get a fresh bottle.

On tap, poured into a snifter. A moderate bubblegum, grass, and faint caramel come through on the nose. Thereís a hefty aromatic dose of vanilla throughout the drink with a herbal touch late. It pours a murky, pale, yellow-orange color with a thin, white soapy head that retains a medium soapy ring. Thereís a very light dusting of head on the surface and no lace is left on the glass. The beer is moderately bitter, with a balanced sweetness, and a touch of sour. The medium bodied, creamy beer has a kinda flat, light buzz carbonation. The initial flavor that comes through is under ripe, bitter apricot and/or plums with a light touch of grapefruit citrus, and caramel. Thereís a pleasant and clean spicy finish; quite crisp. The aftertaste is a mixture of different stone fruits (apricot and peaches) with a light bread crust. Itís a bit astringent too.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/13/2013. Pours slight hazy deep golden color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Incredible appearance. Aromas of big lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, candi sugar, bread, herbal, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, candi sugar, bread, herbal, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, candi sugar, herbal, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a really excellence Belgian pale ale. All around great complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

750 c&c from Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is light and fruity. Some sort of spice. Very pleasant to inhale. Med body at least. Flavor is lightly spicy, light stone fruit, not banana, a little malt, and some mild bitterness. Itís finishing moderately dry in a fruity way, and itís pretty pleasant to drink. Very relaxed Belgian. :)

Bottle 33cl. Hazy gold with a huge white top. Aroma is not very special, just your average blonde. Taste is good, a touch of sourness in the aftertaste. Not special, but it tastes like itís brewed with care.

Bottle from the Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a golden color and large white head, with a lot of bubbles. In the aroma tones of vanilla, fruits and some spices. The taste is a little sweet with somes tones of alcohol and a little fruity notes. The finish is fruity, soft and a has a light bitterness in the end. Not completely impressed by this blonde beer but itís oke.
