pretty good, seems a little thin as the flavours disappear quicker than they should but as long as they are there they’re nice enough - typical dark fruit/currants and yeast.

Bottle 33cl. Ruby coloured with a cream top which lasts a long time. Aroma has sourness but is not very special. Taste is flat at first but soon the spices, and alcohol hit in. Has a long aftertaste. Quite good.

Ligt eigenlijk in de lijn met de Wolf 8, spijtig genoeg. Dan is de wolf 7 een veel lekkerder bier.

Bottle from the Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer is amber colored and has a large creamy head, with a lot of bubbles. The aroma is fruity, with tones of bananas, caramel and a little alcohol. The taste is sweet, fresh and fruity with some fruit notes and a little alcohol. The finish is strong with some spices and a little warming alcohol with a light bitterness. A good strong ale, but not the best.

Bottle courtesy of a friend. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt yeast. The flavour is medium sweet, light bitter with a sweet fruit lifts alcoholic palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Aroma of mixed, sweet fruits and yeast. Sweet dried fruits in the flavour although it’s quite mild. Lacks depth for its 9%.

0.33L bottle. Pours a clear read with an off-white head. Aromas of alcohol, licorice and burnt sugar. Flavor goes almost immediately to hop and roasted malt bitter, lingering citrus and candi sugar. Cloying sugars sticking to the back of the throat, but surprisingly absent malt flavor. Full body with a fairly sticky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Overall, a pretty heavy beer with some nice aromas, but flavor doesn’t really warrant the heaviness. Couldn’t drink too many of these.

Dark amber body with high creamy head. Aroma is lightly acidic, grassy notes, light citrus. Taste has grassy bitterness upfront, long lasting, light sugar candy sweet support. Palate across is mostly caramel. Body is medium, medium carbonation too.
