| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 19, 2005 My first mead, so I have nothing to compare this to. Appearance: light yellow with no head. Smslls of sweet honey, some floral aroma... all very light (not strong). Flavor is strong alcohol with some honey notes. Light finish. I enjoy it, but not for the price. nick76 (2657), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 10, 2005 Updated: Jun 22, 2006The aroma is of a floral perfume with a hint of honey. The appearance is a clear golden color. Since its not a carbonated beer it has no head. The taste is like a sweet white wine with a more pronounced alcohol character and grassy notes. The honey taste is subtle. The finish is surprisingly dry for a drink as sweet as this one. The aftertaste is somewhat like a bitter wood taste. heemer77 (4303), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 23, 2005 Thin light yellow. Aroma is sour cat piss and some evergreen trees and soap. The taste is better with some apples and maybe a hint of metallic notes. Overall a fairly harsh mead and not too pleasurable on it’s own. However, it pairs well with sweet and succulent food. This might also be nice with spices or ice cold. Frank (1066), Chicago, Illinois, USA

I like mead a lot but I hate, hate, hate bad mead. And this sucks. So fuck it. OK clear gold color. Funky weird and bad nose of oak, aspirin, scrubbing bubbles and honeysuckle. Thin watery flavor. There’s a bit of nice grapeyness here and there but that’s minor. Overall, I say bugger this crap. On top of that, it gives me heartburn. Fuck it. MullMan (1080), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA
