(Bottle 32 cl) Hazy golden with a small, rough, white head. Tart, astringent apple aroma. Medium body with tart apple notes and an astringent, leathery finish. Excellent farmhouse style cider. 080408

32 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy orange with a fully diminished white head. Light apple fruity and floral aroma, mild woody note. Flavour is dry leathery. Slight woody and with a mild smoked note. Ends dry and mild phenol flavoured.

750 ml bottle. Sparkling, gold colour, some haze. Straightforward appley aroma. Lots of fruit in the flavour which engenders a certain sweetish feel on the palate even though its actually quite dry. Just a hint of tannin. Crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. An easy drinking, quaffable cider if a little short on traditional character. Maybe a little too well behaved in bottle.

on tap at the 78. after a bunch of so-so cask ales, this really reinvigorated my taste buds. hazy pale yellow, aroma of anchovy stuffed olives, quite salty and sour with some sherbet sweetness. excellent cider
