COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A South German style of beer (weissbier) made from barley and wheat malt. A yeast that produces some spiciness and unique flavors of banana and cloves. The "Hefe" prefix means "with yeast", hence the beer's unfiltered ad cloudy appearance.

My first industrial Hefeweisen. Pale straw, hazy, small head for a heft, no lace. Nose, of, well, nothing. Taste of sweet orange, hint of banana, no clove or spice, limited bitterness. Not a German heft. Imagine if Coors Blue Moon were a hefe and you have a good idea of what this is. But in Cairo I don’t have many choice. I may even have another.

Bottled in Hurghada Hazy golden with a medium, white head. Light spiciness in both aroma and flavour. Also som citric notes of sweet oranges in the flavour. By far the most interesting Egyptian beer.

Bottled, 0.5l. Hazy deep golden color with large and long lasting creamy white head. Aroma of grainy malt, yeast and banana with light skunky note, too. Taste starts with rich malt, but it’s quickly followed by refreshing grainy and yeasty sourness which suddenly becomes too plain. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Pretty decent hefe...

Hefig-hebrer Geruch, etwas abgestanden. Hefig-muffiger Antrunk, wenig Weizen-artig, das Bier schmeckt eher nach einem langweiligen Lager, sehr mild werdend. Absolut nicht lecker! Danke an Barak! Test vom 27.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,5,5,4,7,4 - 4,95

Cloudy yellow colour. Strong aroma that is very sweet and fruity with a slight smokiness. Flavour is sweet and smokey. Body is thin. Low to medium carbonation.
