Bought in Polish supermarket . Aroma: caramel, chocolate, red fruits (maybe cherries). Dark brown color, big fast fading head. Taste: light sweetness, medium body, nice bitterness form roasted malt, not too sweet texture creamy, long - bitter finish, soft carbonation. Good beer but this is very light version of balitic porter beer.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mansquito (1618) - washington, Washington DC, USA - FEB 7, 2012
From my friend Natasha who brought it from Russia: Pours a sort of reddish brown color with a small tan head. Aroma is slightly fruity and slightly malty. Really easy to drink for any beer and especially for a porter. Other than that it is a little sweet, but has a nice slightly bitter finish. A weird sort of fruitiness pervades in this beer. Alcohol is well-covered up. I might be biased, but I thought it was pretty good. I am surprised to see all the very negative reviews. Perhaps they are old bottles?

Mahognyfärgad öl med ganska kraftigt beige skum. Maltig, vinös med russin i doften. Ganska söt med viss rostad bitterhet. Aningar av kaffe och lakrits.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 harrisoni (9652) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 6, 2011
Boytle at Pigs Ear 2011. deep ruby beer. Thin beige head. Raisin on aroma. Quite rich. Bit if dirty raisin. Unsubtle alcohol burn on finish. not a huge amount to the body. I like the aroma. Body fades and then rawish alcohol. Sting on finish

A: The pour is more of a dark amber color, with a decent sized khaki head.
S: Smells oddly vinous with a lot of grape aroma. A bit of rubbing alcohol, too. Lightly metallic with some feet and prune juice. Just a bit of sweet bready malt.
T: Cloyingly sweet with lots of caramel, prunes, and cheap wine. Very metallic with just a light bitterness of roasted grain. A bit of cardboard flavor with a hint of smoke and chocolate.
M: Medium bodied with a medium carbonation.
O: Simply bad. Not worth drinking again.
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 flemmingwillum (687) - Copenhagen S, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2011
Rating #623, bottle at Øst-ølsmagning
Surprisingly light brown porter with only a bit of a head that never develops. Aroma is coffee, vague liqourice, and of course a load of alcohol as in any other ukrainian beer. Flavor of coffee, liqourice, alcohol. This is extremely alcoholic and not a good porter at all. The bitterness in the finish is hard to rate as the flavours are totally drowning in the overshadowing alcohol. Not only a sturdy palate in this one. I actually looked forward to it, but that was a mistake as this is probably the worst baltic porter I’ve had.

Perfectly classic Baltic Porter; intensely sweet-sour winey in the nose and in the flavor. Such a fermented raisin taste, but thinner than in an Abt and not plummy. Very drinkable, nice palate conditioning. Bottle at Degustatornia, Gdansk location.
