1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: MAY 8, 2010 500ml bottle (Limaty)
Clear orange. Floral non-descript aroma. Light lager palate, a touch sweet. odd plasticky taste, but even the iceberg lettuce I’d just had had more bitterness - in fact I could still taste the lettuce after the beer. Worth ignoring.
3 Slightly perfumey, a touch mentholly chemical aroma.
2 Pale, tiny head
3 Pretty potent chemical blast. Later, it’s papery too
1 Fizzy palate, wacky chemical mess. Finish chemical and metallic
4 A real mess, heading towards good old fashioned nasty. Not lacking taste, simply lacking, and lacking a sense of taste.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
I tried this beer on May 20, 2009 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a clear gold colour with a thin white head. The aroma was grainy malt with a hint of hops. The mouthfeel was quite weak, almost watery with mild carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt with tons of metal.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
500 ml bottle. Pours a light golden in color with little to no head. It is a fairly calm beer with little carbonation. It has a grassy aroma and a metallic/grassy hop flavor. It is fairly non-offensive compared to other lagers from the region. Decent but not good.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
I grabbed a 500ml bottle from the LCBO. Labelled LVIVSKE Premium 5.2%. Poured clear golden with thick foamy head. Smells skunky/hoppy like a pilsner. Mild mouthfeel, kindaflat, tastes of corn and medium malt flavour. A slight hint of bitterness at the finish. A non-offensive beer.

Truly being a "gourmets for all seasons of times," LOL!; Did Satcha Baron Cohen write the commercial description? Poured from bottle at Ukefest in TO. Looks enough like real lager. Starts smooth enough and ends with a vaguely dry note. Sweet corn aroma and taste that is not odious. Slightly grassy taste and feel. One was enough for me yet I’m glad I tried yet another example of this evasively rare style so hard to find at Ontario liquor stores.
