wilderthanyou (311), Guelph, Ontario, Canada May 10, 2008 Meh, pretty bland and straight forward.
Pours a golden yellow, no head. Sweet grassy aroma. Flavour is pretty crisp, and light. Meh, good drinkabilit if nothing else.
douglas88 (743), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Aug 21, 2008 Bottle thanks to jjpm74. Pours a clear golden body with a thick foamy head that quickly goes down to a thin foamy layer. The aroma is sweet malts and grass. The taste is a sweet, but not too sweet malt, some light floral hops, a touch of bitterness, but a light one, and some corn. Not bad. Leaves your mouth with a soapy flavor, but otherwise not bad. jjpm74 (2944), Connecticut, USA Aug 12, 2008 Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of sweet pilsner malt, some stray hops. Tastes moderately bitter and spicy with a nice malty background. Enjoyable. Skidds (180), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 7, 2008 ....I think this is the one I had. Anyway, pours a light gold with a decent sized white head (disappeared quickly). Light-Med carbonation. Grassy, happy notes in the aroma. Flavour the same with some corn and malts. Finish is light and bitter. A good brew from Ukraine. sir_Pino (548), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Jul 18, 2008 No 302

Bottle brown, 500 ml, 12P
Appearance: Pours bright, pale yellowish, definitely lacking in golden colour and deepness of hue, reminding piss, what is more the beer is not perfectly clear, there is some sediment floating in the body trxture. Carbonation is medium in body. Head is frothy white with halfly diminishing head. What is interesting is a decent lacing.
Aroma: Milky, a bit nutty, some dull chalkyness, aromatic hoppy nose, notes of grass, some mild sweetness at the body background. Quite interesting and very mild aroma of hops balancing it. Simple but nice for that style of beer. Alcohol is felt though.
Flavour: Nice bitter and quite dry body texture, what is nice actually is bitterness of hops combined with a bit accidic saltyness on palate from carbonation. In the aftertaste the alcoholic and a bit chalky nose is felt and there is flowery grainyness on palate. Flavour is very nice, interesting, not wattery even impressive as for a Pale Lager. The same good quality barley malts as in ’Obolon’ productss, also from Ukraine. Very good job. Finish duration is average with some hoppy and alcoholic notes on palate.
Palate: Body is light to medium, texture is wattery to dry. Carbonation is almost lively on palate, finish feel is chalky, metallic, lighty to maderate alcoholic with grainy feel on palate and aromatic hoppy nose at finish.
