Not really balanced at all offering some sweetness and sourness with no real direction in. Bit skunky towards the end with apples and lemons in the dominance. Not really delicious.

Bottle from Britische Biere in Düsseldorf. The cider has got a clear deep golden-amber colour with a medium body. Aroma of sweet and ripe apples. Taste of sweet apples, honey, caramel and leaves. Sugary-sweet finish with low carbonation. Easy to drink, yet it gets too sweet at the end.

500ml bottle. 6%. Clear orange-yellow gold colour, no head and aroma of tart apple, slight barnyard. Taste is tangy bittersweet apple, sourish, with apple skin and vanilla notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite OK.

Bottle shared with G on cider blind taste test night. Golden coloured still cider with little aroma. Very dry and leaves a very dry mouth. Fairly light, but not my type of cider.

Bottle shared with Pix on cider blind taste test night. Golden amber still cider. A slightly tart cider lacking in sweetness. This was pretty bad. Lacked flavour and what flavour it had was pretty bad. Not sure if it was a bad batch, cos i can’t believe anyone would like this.

Glass jug. Still golden. Aromas are earthy apple with citrus. Barnyard notes with vinegar. Flavours are sweet and sour apple with a dry, yeasty tart finish. Pretty decent.

Pours a lovely peachy-orange colour. The nose has dry sour apples with a creaminess. The taste is of peachy-yoghurt, rather than a particularly big apple flavour. The palate is medium in structure, the texture is tight and long and lean and this continued into the long drying sour finish. Overall, I like this a lot, real scrumpy.

From an awesome 1L jug. Orange-red pour. The aroma is soft and fruity. Sort of peppery with a lot of dry apple skin character. Softly sweet though with some light skin tannins. Spicy and lovely. Fruity apple skin character.

Bottle. A clear orange colour with a very thin white head. The aroma is of a bitter sweet apple. The taste is very sweet and light with a dry finish.

large plastic container from a newsagent in Seaton (08/2010). Medium-fruity, not acid, not tart, full of apples. Still cider, almost no carbonation.
