This lingering combination of pale Maris Otter malts and choice German hops may make you pause for thought. As you contemplate the gentle biscuit malts, fresh Hersbrucker hops seduce the taste buds educating and enlightening the palate.
So why is Mr Einstein on the pump clip? It’s not rocket science... but it is thinking drinking.

A strong well hopped golden ale, with a clear colour and medium white head. A crisp flavoured beer with all the hop that you could manage this is a slightly bitter beer which refreshes the palate and I will agree with the name it does make you think there are so many subtle flavours it make you think more about the beer that the drinking. There is a zesty aroma and the hoppiness is clear but overall it is a pleasant drink but not one that I could drink all night.

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Golden with a thick creamy head. Has a smoothish session texture with a hoppy base. There’s a very light floralness in its nose and similar with a very light sweetness in its taste. Slips down the palate with ease.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2015 Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) Hazy golden colour with thin white head. Aroma is grassy, herbal, biscuity and slightly citrusy. Taste of biscuity malts and lemons. Also grassy and herbal. Light bodied and watery texture. Crisp, citrusy hop finish. Surprisingly boring, not what I was expecting.

Cask at Nantwich Food and Drink Festival 6/9/2014. Pours a hazy blond colour, aroma smells of stale farts and the taste is rather bland. Won’t be going back to this one soon

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is light malt and creamy caramel. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt hop bitter slightly watery palate. Medium bodied with a average carbonation. I really liked this. Lots of flavour and ideal for a session.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Amber ale with a thin, long-lasting head. Bitter, floral, slightly dry ginger hops taste, with a fair amount of water in the finish. Not Lymestone?s best but still decent.
