Citrusy and lemony but tasty. Has a kind of rank undercurrent - like a mice drink in a bad pub ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 29 Mar 2012. Poured a lightly hazy golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of citrus, grass and brown sugar. Spicy hop flavours, with dusty grain and apricot. Finish was slightly astringent grass, resin and chalk.

On cask at Reginald Mitchell (JDW), Hanley. Pours golden with white head. Quite a floral easy drinking pale. Nice enough.

Tasted this in the Roebuck Inn, Hilderstone on the 31st August 2014. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Dusty hop flowers present in the light floral aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base gives a strong fruit flavour of grapefruit and lime. There is a long citrus note in the dry dusty hoppy aftertaste. Finish is again hoppy with weak lime cordial evident in the mouth. An ok session Golden Ale and it reminded me of Copper Dragon Golden Pippin in some aspects.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Standard, easy drinking golden bitter. Some ginger. Bitterness is short. Average

Cask at The Sussex Arms, Twickenham. Slight citrus in the aroma. Great looking beer, crystal clear with great lacing on the glass. Bit thin without enough body to support the bitterness. Hint of flowery flavours. Overall a competent beer, would drink again.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear amber with a thin white head. The aroma is weak floral hop leading to a medium bitter flavour with lots of hoppy citrus notes on the smooth refreshing palate. Perfect for a session.

Pours cloudy amber. Not overly impressed. Very malty taste. Smooth to drink, but nothing memorable.

A golden blonde ale, with a thick foam head and plenty of life. There are only very weak aromas of caramel, however flavour is greatly different, intense citrus and bitter flavours burst in the mouth and you can feel the every last drop on your tongue. A very refreshing beer with a smooth finish from the caramel, another brilliant creation from the Lymestone Brewers!!
