dj (365), Gloucestershire, England Mar 21, 2008 Bottle, 750ml. A clear, sparking light green colour with little discernible head. Aroma is clean, fresh pear. Taste has plenty of pear and cider notes, with some yeast perhaps. A little acidic in the finish, but not too much. Medium-dry. Moderate carbonation - I’d have preferred less. A very enjoyable perry, with clean fruity flavours which make it almost too easy to drink! fonefan (4062), Ulfborg, Denmark Aug 22, 2007 Bottle @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Clear light amber color with a small, virtually none, off-white head. Aroma is moderate pear, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to short duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Very nice DJMonarch (4091), Northwich, Cheshire, England Mar 6, 2006 Cask Stillage at the Racecourse, Worcester 17/08/2001
Sweet on the palate. Very fruity aroma and flavour. CidreMonstre (19), Cambridge, England May 20, 2004 See notes on Cider.
Perry is made from PEARS, these are not soft edible pears they are small, hard and bulletlike.
The fermented juice however is wonderful. This perry is light and dryer than the cider. Well worth hunting out.
Sorry ENGLAND only and draught only.
Availability as Cider.
