Golden coloured, no head. It has a surprisingly light character given its strength.

500cl can picked up in Hastings. Straw coloured with a billowing white head when poured into a pint glass; a touch of tropical fruit on the nose, almost hiding the alcohol; the taste isn’t as bland as I expected - buttery, and with some fruity esters; then a boozy Madeira cake finish. Overall this is much better than I expected.

7.9% gold colour with no head, sweet sugary aroma, very sweet alcohol taste and a strange bitter aftertaste, dreadful beer.

500ml can. Pours gold with a large head. Aroma was slightly metalic cooked vegetables. taste was veggies to start and a very sweet caramel finish.

500ml can from corner shop on way home from work. Clear gold with thin white head. Faint lemon on aroma. Decent European Strong Lager. Some syrupy alcohol on aroma which carries on into the mouth. Not horrible if you swallow it quickly enough. Some bitterness on end which is probably from the carbonation. It’s just about ok.

Can thanks to Keith. Thanks, Keith. Mine is the 8.5% reserve favoured by the English connoisseur, poured into a pint pot just to see what happens....it looks like lager- bright orange-gold, lacing with a fluffy, diminishing head clinging to the beer. Cherry palinka, margarine, low cal peach yoghurt, rust, dog rubbed with unripe banana aroma, plus a skunky hop hint. Slick and sugared grass/aluminium flavour, with banana and petrol nuances. The frogs that live in my drain are going to have a party on this, but I could, if challenged, consume one whole tin easily- the weird esters, alcohols, Madeira cake, candy floss and sweet corny/grassy hop notes are not a million miles from a certain kind of Belgian Tripel or English ’Barley Wine’. Lucky frogs.

Tall can. Blinding gold, a sickening malt liquor hue with an unstable head. Sweet aroma is plastic syrup, apples, latex, and a little spice. Moderate carbonation gives a little prickle along with the Teflon coating it leaves on the tongue. Pretty thick and sweet with nasty industrial and chemical notes. Is like biting into a plastic fruit.

Deep gold pee colour with a little bit of froth, kind of like pee. Plasticy, doughy aroma with apples and alcohol. Plasticy character. Maybe some light apple. Already getting far removed from beer and it’s not even that strong.
