Cask at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a long-lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth malt hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really enjoyed this. A superb ESB that’s called an IPA. Very misleading :-)

Gently fruity hop aroma. Orange, brief head. Lovely full body - sweet bready malts, and loads of fleshy fruit hops. Very full, a little sticky but not sugary. A delicious hoppy bitter.

Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Fest 2010. Gold with white head. Everything thats required in this sort of beer, nicely dry and brewed out with plenty of hoppy fruity notes, citric, grapefruit, apricot and a decent alcohol note. Good depth with a biscuity malt body and in beautiful condition. Fro me, the best beer of this festival amongst very good competition.

Cask gravity at St Albans BF 09. Clear copper colour, hoppy aroma. Very nice hoppy beer, bit of toffee in there. Good hops, bit empty on the malts maybe.
