Een quadrupel zoals u die nog nooit geproefd heeft. Vol van body, moutig, krachtig en flink hoppig met tonen van peer en zwarte bessen.

Reddish brown to brown coloured, small offwhite head. Aroma has dates, leather, dried fruit, candy and caramel. Full bodied taste, sweetish, some alcohol shows up. Rioasted malts, some bubbles, lang somewhat sweet bitter finish and aftertaste, with prunes or something. very Nice beer

Could have mistaken it for a stout. Rather pricey at local liquerstore at 3 euro a bottle. I really like it! Could be a favortie or a regular in my beercellar if it wasn’t for the price.

(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 19 Feb 2016) Dark brown colour with dense, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of dried fruit, caramel, raisins, dark bread and brown sugar. Malty, sweet taste with caramel, dried fruit, rum raisins, prunes, brown sugar and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Full body, quite sweet. Tasty and warming, but on the sweet side. Nice one.

Een donkere quadrupel, meet zoet-kruidig aroma. De smaak doet denken aan de Bernardus 12: volle smaak met karamel, pruimedant, rozijn, stroop, hop. Zeer geslaagd brouwsel.

33cl bottle. Dark ruby pour, clear, with a very thin beige head. Visible carbonation at the top. Smells of dried fruit - prunes, raisins - and caramel. The taste is sweet, and just a bit bitter, with notes of dried fruit, sherry and brown sugar. A bit too sweet and cloy, but the flavours are all there.

Dark clearish brown, soft bubbly ringed head. Nose is big grotty dark malt. Initial taste is keen Cola and cheap dark choc. Fairly decent carbonation. Finishes smooth plain choc again, soft sweet spice.

Bottle, Public Transport Delayed Tasting
