The beer has a nice yellow color. It is a little cloudy. The smell is nice and sweet. You can taste almonds and maybe banana. The bitternes and the sweetness are nicely balanced. All in all a good beer.

This beer offers a wonderful fruity yeast character that reminds a lot of German Weizen beers with a well dosed note of citrus fruit and even a subtle idea of banana. But then, the hop popps in and reminds you that this is a Belgian Style Ale. It’s present, gives a nice dryness without scrapping all other tastes. This beer is clearly well balanced! The carbonation is relatively high, which makes it also a thirst quencher, the body is medium and the finish turns sweetish with a subtle hop dryness glued to your palate. This beer is worth to create the category ’Dutch Ale’… But let’s take it for what it is - a fantastic Belgian Style Ale!

Bottle one month past bb date. Slight gusher. Hazy golden with a massive white head. Spicy Belgian yeast with some cloves and cumin. Musty grapes, nice sweet malts and some herbs. Light sweet, slight sour touch and long bitter finish. Not sure if it's because this is a bit old, but doesn't look very good. Aroma and taste is still ok though there's not a lot of hops.

0,3 l bottle from Slijterij Benting, Coevorden. And, as I repeat everytime at Maallust ratings, a simple but perfect and informative label art design. Light unclear and pale golden in the glass, big white head. Yeast, wheat and soft caramell on the nose, light fruity. Starts surprisingly very herb, dry grapefruit and orange. A lot of hop, no easy drinker. Low but present sweetness. Alcoholic hints in the aftertaste.
