Dit bier van 9% alcohol is stevig gehopt en heeft een romige witte schuimkraag. Volmoutig van smaak, met een kruidige geur en een mooie hopbitterheid in de afdronk.

30/X/12 - 33cl bottle from Biernavigatie (webshop, NL) @ home - BB: V/14 (2012-1228) Thanks to Cybu for sharing the bottle!

Bit cloudy orange beer, lots of small sediment floating around, bit yellowish head, unstable, adhesive. Aroma: sweet, bit sugary, alcohol, banana, some spices. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, sweet and sugary, quite some banana, bitter, dry, a bit spicy. Aftertaste: banana, sweet, some spices, orange peel and alcohol. Ok, but nothing special.

Good tghings first: this is a nice Tripel! It offers an intense hop character, is wonderful dry, has a smooth and round mouthfeel, is medium bodied and was offered a nice sparkle by it’s brewers. There is even a mini hint of honey which makes it sublime. Lovely beer. Tripels are one of Belgiums great beer styles - but this one comes from the Netherlands…. A declaration of war - and a well armed one!

Oranje kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig, hop, citrus, kruiden. Smaakt bitterzoet, fruitig, hop. Iets orange.

Bottle. Golden with white head. Lots of sweet spices, ginger- and banana bread, marmalade, fresh dough and lots of yeast. Light hops in the finish. Quite sweet with yeasty bitter finish. Full bodied. Ok

Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, huge head. Starts intense malty, wheaty, more and more spicy. Fruity notes of peaches and apricot. Finish light alcoholic, still okay. Not bad!

0,3 l bottle from Slijterij Benting, Coevorden. And, as I write everytime at Maallust ratings, a simple but perfect and informative label art design. An unclear pale orange in the glass, small fine foamy head. Malt and dry fruits on the nose. Taste dry apricot, malt, pleasant sweetness, hop in the second row. Nuts and cookies, sweeter to the end. Not so alcoholic as expected. Enjoyed it a lot!

Standard tripel with a creamy taste of malt and aroma hops. Has a weird metallic touch, bit unpleasent.

Lots of sweet pale malts in this one. It’s a good balance against the fruity yeast. Different to a traditional Tripel.

Strong tripel with delicate citrus flavours. Nice bitterness and aftertaste is hoppy. Lots of carbon for the freshness

Bottle, pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma: grass, earthy, floral. Taste: floral, earthy, caramel. Sweet, with a bitter in the back. Typical Maallust earthiness, which i don?t really like that much in a tripel.
