caesar (4029) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 16, 2004
Note: I did not pour the complete sediment (most of the times it's just sour yeast from these small dutch breweries). Rating: Cloudy brown color, short off-white head. Malty aroma, bit chocolat. Taste is burned malts, some chocolat, slightly spicy, bit metallic. Both creamy and sharp palate.

Dark amber coloured beer with a small head. Malty aroma and a very dominant malty taste. Low bitterness. Very simple.

Had this beer years ago and didn't like it then. And I still don't like it. Light spices and chocolat aroma. Brown, off-white almost creamy head, good lace. Neutral flavor, some spices, some yeast. Long lasting yeasty finish.

pivo (2540) - GERMANY - FEB 27, 2002
The aroma is sweet and raisiny. Color is cloudy, greyish brown. Big malt taste - maybe a little chocolatey? Fruity, too, like a baked apple. This beer starts slow, then bursts into full flavor. Kinda sour at the end and leaves on a low note. Otherwise a decent brew.
