Bottle thanks to Joes! expiration date march 2009:  Big light brown foamy head on top of a deep dark brownish black beer. Aroma is a soft and strange smelling mix of roasted malts, oatmeal, chocolate, coffee, spices and rice. Taste is a sweet mix of dark fruits, prunes, raisin, brown sugars, alcohol, coffee, bitter, roasted malts, earth. Bit sweet. Light bitter grassy aftertaste. Low carbo, medium body and soft to silky mouthfeel. Guess aging did this beer well.

Bottled 30cl. Courtesy of bierkoning. Cress, strong coffee, basil, sage and roasted malt in the nose. The flavor is mainly of roasted malt, mustard, cress and basil. Very drinkable. Spicy. Strange. Thanks a lot bierkoning!

Dark brown, tan head. Sweet and malty nose. Malty and sweet flavours. Not a great stout but drinkable nonetheless.

Bottle at Het Arendsnest. Black beer, beige head. Aroma of sugar, roasted malts, liquorice. Lots of liquorice in the flavour, sweet sticky malts, some roastedness. Way too sweet for an Imperial Stout for my liking.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Chocolate, malt and licorice in the aroma. Roasted malt and licorice in the flavor. Medium bodied, alcoholic. Hint of tartness. Lacks refinement, though quite drinkable.
